Our campaigns aim to raise awareness of the importance of relationships and promote access to our support services.
Not ‘Just’ a Mum
We understand that being a mum can be a transformative experience that often leads to huge changes in our lives and our sense of self. From changes to our bodies and how we spend our time and money to redefining our friendships, romantic relationships and careers, motherhood is about a whole lot more than ‘just’ being a mum!
It’s not always easy to navigate these changes alone, and we’re here to provide a space for you to reflect on your experiences and find support during these moments.
Relationships Week 2022
In Relationships Week 2022, we celebrated our own milestone of launching our refreshed brand, and recognised the new milestones that matter to many of us. Whether it’s deciding to be child-free, finding our chosen family, recognising the anniversary of our oldest friendships or appreciating the support we give to our neighbours – we can relate.
The Rise of ‘Horniculture’
Brits are known for their love of gardening, but can the nation’s passion for plants help break down taboos around sex and intimacy in later life? And tackle rising rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in the over 65s?
Relationships Week 2021
Relationships Week 2021 will take place from 5-11 July, bringing together voices from across the UK to highlight the importance of healthy relationships in our lives. The last year has been incredibly tough and has affected us in different ways.
During Relationships Week we’ll be sharing lots of helpful content from our counsellors and partner organisations, and we’ll also be highlighting Relate services that can help boost self-esteem.
Let’s talk the joy of later life sex
We’ve teamed up with renowned British photographer, Rankin, to shine the spotlight on the unseen – sex and intimacy in our later years, in the campaign: Let’s Talk The Joy of Later Life Sex.
Shooting five older couples and one woman in their most intimate settings, the team set out to show what sex and intimacy can mean in later life in a way that’s never been done before.
The COVID-19 pandemic has perhaps been the biggest test of relationships in recent history. We’ve heard a lot about relationships coming under pressure but relationships have also been vital for getting us through this difficult time. That’s why the theme of the Week is ‘relationships unlocked’ – and why we want to start a national conversation about every aspect of our relationships.
