#RelationshipsWeek #LoveYourself

Relationships Week 2021 will take place from 5-11 July, bringing together voices from across the UK to highlight the importance of healthy relationships in our lives. The last year has been incredibly tough and has affected us in different ways.

For some, self-esteem has improved but for others it’s taken a big hit. There’s a lot of focus now on ‘getting back out there’ – whether that’s going on dates, meeting family and friends we haven’t seen for a long time or going back to the office and interacting with colleagues in-person.

All this reconnecting can feel exciting yet daunting so it’s worth also paying attention to the most important relationship of all: the one with yourself. Learning to love our beautifully imperfect selves can take time, practice and perhaps even some therapy but the positive impact on relationships and overall wellbeing isn’t to be underestimated.

Learning to love yourself

That’s why the theme of this year’s #RelationshipsWeek is #LoveYourself – building self-esteem to get by, grow and thrive in relationships and life.

During Relationships Week we’ll be sharing lots of helpful content from our counsellors and partner organisations, and we’ll also be highlighting Relate services that can help boost self-esteem.

Please help spread the word and keep an eye on this page and our Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts for more content during the week.
